Who Are We?
Al-Maun (Neighborly Needs) of Las Vegas was established in 2004 in response to the growing needs of those who are most under-served throughout the Las Vegas community, focusing on the Historic West Side. We have over 15 years of experience building rapport with our community while identifying and responding to pressing needs such as food and nutrition, health and wellness, education, and homelessness.
Partnership with SNHD
Al-Maun has partnered with the Southern Nevada Health District to implement a comprehensive COVID-19 Community Outreach & Education Project that will have a long-term positive impact on the health of our community
The Goal
To reach communities at high risk for COVID-19 infection and the under-served racial and ethnic minority populations. In Clark County, COVID-19 continues to impact minority communities with higher infection rates and lower vaccination rates.
